Information on New Faculty Members.

Dr. Charles A. McCallum, president of UAB, attended a new faculty reception annually during his presidency. This series consists of materials originally collected in ring binders containing information about new faculty members. Five folders document this annual reception for University College (after 1989 Academic Affairs) faculty members. The materials are arranged by school and by academic year and contain a list of new faculty members by school and a copy of each new faculty member's curriculum vita. These materials span the years 1988 to 1992. Additionally, the series contains a list of all new faculty members in the Academic Health Center for the 1991-1992 academic year and include a c.v. for each new Medical Center faculty member.
